Sunday morning wake up no internet but have power, Start calling ISP at 9am not happy. You see I new I had a typoon but I was irritated as I keep telling them everytime they come out that the outside line is no good. DSL ... Ok so later find out thec  residential  line is out means darn line dead no hope no cable no internet  so I called them they actually said wednesday.........

Can you imagine how much I had to say?

Well I'm not paying a bunch a money to watch local tv and wander outside with my mobile phone,

So they said tomorrow and I went back to cleaning and working on all the mess and damage in the yard.

I will tell you that the game World of Goo is a very frustrating game. So I ended up with farm rush for the upteenth time. Don't know how many times I tried to connect to the internet just hoping....

You know most parts of Hong Kong Barely felt a breeze lol

The typoon came into my neighborhood with a roar about 10Pm on Sat evening. I was quite surprised by the strength of the wind as I tried to unwedge my canopy from between the wall of the house and the outside wall.  My son came out to help me but the gusts were just to strong. It had broken away from the wall and flown down the side of my courtyard and if I didn't collapse it would probably break a window. I ended up having to cut the canvas top in four different places to stop the kite effect.

Shortly after the internet went out......

A bit later the power went out....

The only sound to sleep by was the howling wind...

It creeped me out as It was blowing with much more force than I had expected.

Sunday Morning was a pain...

Hi, I thought I would give you an idea about prices in Hong Kong.

Grocery shopping-

 6 pack of Nestea cans 19.50 HKD Just under 3.00 USD

  a head of lettuce 1.00 USD

  a loaf 0f bread about 1.25 

 cheese OUCH 3.00 usd for a small hunk 

eggs 3.50 USD for white eggs imported from the US

Pork cheap, beef expensive, vegetables cheap, Milk ok I buy the UHT

Cigarettes about 5.00usd and gas per litter about 2 usd per liter

Food imported like Sara Lee, Sauces and stuff OUCH!
